Watercolor artist Barbara Ernst Prey has been confirmed by the US Senate to serve for a six-year term on the National Council on the Arts, the advisory body of the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).  Prey’s work is included in the collections of the Brooklyn Museum, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and the White House.  Her paintings have recently been on display at US embassies in Paris, Prague, Seoul, Baghdad, Abu Dhabi, Athens, Cairo, and others.
